Wagon yard
A train that stops at a wagon yard
- leaves all wagons behind its locomotives (they stay at the stop, the locomotives drive on),
- picks up the wagons waiting right ahead of it and couples them,
- then carries on with its schedule. Wait conditions at this stop do not matter – the mod releases the train.
Modes: Leave and pick up wagons, Only leave wagons, Only pick up wagons.
Pushed wagons: a train that arrives with its wagons in front leaves them at the stop and backs off. It needs a locomotive facing backwards.
Control train limit (checkbox): the stop sets its train limit to 0 while wagons still stand where the train would stop (leave), or until wagons wait ahead of it (pick up). Trains then wait at their previous stop ("destination full") instead of driving there for nothing.
Coupling distance: the train must stop right at the wagons. With the map setting Wagon yard: move up to waiting wagons it moves up to 40 tiles slowly until it touches them.
Train IDs and schedules: every coupling is announced to UTL, so deliveries and schedules survive it. The train keeps its place in the schedule.
Two stops facing each other at the same spot. Train A pushes the wagons up to its stop, uncouples and backs off; train B comes from the opposite side, couples and pulls them away. Both need locomotives facing both ways.
