Boar is a video editor with a multitrack timeline and AI that runs on your PC. This version copies the look of one event onto many, adds a selection tool and fixes phone videos that came in as sound only.

Alpha. It is already good for real editing, but it is young: save often and report what goes wrong.

New in 0.7.2

  • Paste Event Attributes (Ctrl+Shift+V, in the Edit menu and the right-click menu). Edit one piece of a clip, copy it, select the other pieces and paste: they get the same Video FX and Audio FX, Event Pan/Crop, mask, level or volume and, between text events, the same text style and position (each keeps its own words). Keyframes keep their place from the start of each event, so an animated zoom plays the same way on every piece. Selectively Paste Event Attributes lets you tick what to paste, and remembers your choice. Undo brings everything back in one step.
  • Selection edit tool (the dashed-pointer button in the toolbar, or Ctrl+D): drag anywhere, over events too, and a dashed rectangle selects everything it touches without moving or trimming anything. Shift adds to the selection, Ctrl toggles, a click selects one event. Ctrl+D again goes back to the normal tool.
  • Fix: some phone and chat app videos were imported as sound only. Their H.264 header carries a wrong level value, so the picture was refused. Boar now reads the right value from the video itself: these files import with picture and sound, and so does everything made from them (preview, proxies, render).

Italiano

Novità in 0.7.2
