v1.5.3 - First-Time User Welcome Tour, filter additions, performance update, and some fixes
Release v1.5.3
New release of the DIM Aegis Overlay extension. I added a first-time welcome tutorial to showcase most of the features present, a new upgrade-able weapon search, ammo type filters in the Aegis Database Explorer (suggested by @harmerTM), and a layout fix for rating badges overlapping mod sockets (reported by @heroicxidiot). All of this alongside a performance improvement, especially for firefox, contributed by @Johnnycyan (thank youuuu)

First-Time User Welcome Tour: Added a dismissable overlay welcome tutorial that triggers when launching DIM with the extension for the first time. It guides new users through the most, if not all, features of the extension.

"Upgradeable" filter (
aegis:upgrade): Added a custom filter query so you can quickly identify weapons in your inventory that can be upgraded to a higher rating tier simply by equipping different perks/traits in their columns. -
Ammo Type Filtering: Added a quick-select filter for Primary, Special, and Heavy ammunition types at the top of the Database Explorer.
Fixes
- Mod Socket Badge Bug Fix: deployed a fix for a badge overlay but that made it show up on the mods in the loadout optimizer tab.
Performance improvements
@Johnnycyan Contributed to the extension by optimizing many aspects of the project to make it run a lot better. EVERYONE THANK THEM NOW!!
Installation
For Chromium browsers
- Download the packaged
dim-aegis-overlay-v1.5.3.zipfile. - Unpack the ZIP file.
- Open Chrome/Opera and navigate to
chrome://extensions/. - Enable Developer mode in the top-right corner.
- Click Load unpacked and select the unpacked directory.
For Firefox
