0.1.3: embeds, math, page setup, TOC, right-click export
FL resubmission of rev_4a003667 (replaces it; assets now match the published TESTED.md 0.1.3). LANE: fast. Last approved: rev_0e93c22b (repo 0.1.3, live). Triggers: none (FL2 checked).
Changes since 0.1.2, free core unless marked Pro:
- Right-click "Export to .docx" on a note in the file explorer and in the editor.
- Note embeds ![[Note]], ![[Note#Heading]], ![[Note#^block]] on their own line are inlined (3 levels; cycles and missing notes stay plain text).
- Math (
$...$ ,$$...$$ ) becomes native Word equations for a common LaTeX subset; unsupported LaTeX falls back to monospace. - Page setup: A4 (default) or US Letter, normal or narrow margins.
- Optional table of contents (setting or a [[toc]] line); Word asks to update fields on open.
- Headings use Word Heading 1-6 styles; code uses "Code Block" / "Inline Code" styles; tables use fixed widths that fit the page.
- Syntax fixes: setext headings, [/] and [-] task states, HTML and %% comments, block ids no longer leak.
- Pro: inline ^[...] footnotes; the offline "Re-check" keeps Pro for a paying user and only a definite answer from Gumroad changes the state.
Checks (2026-10-05, SkyNet run_product_checks): typecheck, 115 automated tests and build passed. main.js sha256 8dd578c94ffa77a7f4b4225ccbbf04d105df8a820273789bd623bd29f8ebc200; manifest.json sha256 689925dd178e6a2a7880d5c92a6269f43a65367c77d1f8ca49fa60fd731966b7 (both listed in the published TESTED.md). Not run in a real Obsidian and not tested in Word: the new menu entries, page/TOC settings and offline Re-check have automated-test evidence only. Embeds were tested with a stub note loader. Code is AI-assisted. No new network use: the only call is the optional Gumroad licence check.

0.1.2: Pro link in settings opens the Pro page
DOCX Export Studio 0.1.2 (AI-assisted, open source, MIT).
What changed since 0.1.1: the "How to get Pro" link in the plugin settings now opens the optional Pro page on Gumroad in your browser (it only opens when you click it; the plugin makes no extra network call). The README now says near the top that Pro is an optional paid upgrade and that we earn money if you buy it. No other code change.
Free export is unchanged and needs no account or network.
Tests: typecheck, 44 automated tests and build pass (2026-10-05). Not re-run in the Obsidian app on 0.1.2; the last app run (Obsidian 1.13.7, Linux) was on 0.1.0. See TESTED.md in the repo for the full list of what is and is not tested.
Files: main.js, manifest.json (install these two), THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md.

DOCX Export Studio 0.1.1
DOCX Export Studio 0.1.1 (AI-assisted, made by Quillfern). Free core; optional Pro ($12 one-time, Gumroad licence key, one licence check call to api.gumroad.com; no telemetry). Pro page: https://xparhyx.gumroad.com/l/bpfqja . The Pro licence check has not yet been confirmed by a paid purchase; if your key fails to unlock Pro, the purchase is refunded in full.
Changes from 0.1.0, build settings and heading text only, for the Obsidian directory automated review: build replaces two unused script-injection fallbacks in the bundled jszip dependency, so main.js has no createElement("script") (grep: 0 matches); builtin-modules replaced by node:module; settings headings are now "Pro upgrade", "Pro features", "Custom preset".
Testing: 44 automated tests pass (npm run test, 2026-10-03). The run in real Obsidian 1.13.7 (Linux) was done on 0.1.0 (main.js sha256 starts bf84e5b9) and was NOT repeated on 0.1.1. See TESTED.md. Not tested in Microsoft Word, Windows, macOS.

DOCX Export Studio 0.1.0 (first release)
DOCX Export Studio 0.1.0 is the first release. It was made with AI assistance by Quillfern, an AI-assisted studio, and is open source under the MIT licence.
Free: export the current note to a .docx file (the format Microsoft Word uses) from the command palette or ribbon icon, offline, no Pandoc. Supports headings, bold/italic/strikethrough/highlight, inline code, links, bullet/numbered/task lists, tables, code blocks, quotes, callouts and local images.
Optional paid Pro (one-time licence key sold on Gumroad; not on sale yet, a link will be added to the README when it is): style presets (built-in and custom), real footnotes (native .docx footnotes), header/footer/page numbers, and batch folder export (max 200 notes per run). Pro does not support using your own .docx file as a template. Refunds: reply to your Gumroad receipt within 30 days for a full refund; a refunded key fails verification.
Network and privacy: no network use and no telemetry in export. Only if you press Verify / Re-check in settings, the plugin sends your licence key and the Pro product id to api.gumroad.com/v2/licenses/verify (Gumroad's licence API). Nothing else is sent. No server of ours is involved.
Install manually: put main.js and manifest.json into <vault>/.obsidian/plugins/docx-export-studio/ and enable the plugin under Community plugins.
Tested: 44 automated tests pass. This exact build (main.js sha256 starts bf84e5b9, manifest.json starts b8005bbf) was loaded in Obsidian 1.13.7 on Linux desktop: Academic and custom presets, footnotes, header/footer and folder export, and the Verify button with an invalid key against the live Gumroad service (rejected, nothing saved). Output was checked in LibreOffice 6.4.7.2 (headless); the PDFs were not viewed. Pro features were exercised with the Pro state forced on, not with a licence key. Batch export with subfolders was not exercised. Not tested in Microsoft Word, on Windows, macOS or mobile. A real valid or refunded licence key has not been confirmed. Minimum Obsidian version 1.5.0 is an estimate. Wikilinks export as plain text; note embeds, math, Mermaid and Dataview are not rendered; remote images are not downloaded.
