Download, extract, open — no Python or terminal required

Proofpage now includes its own Python runtime and a small desktop launcher. Open the app and your full evidence/training workspace opens in your browser. No account or subscription required.

Choose one of the Proofpage-0.1.2 downloads:

  • darwin-arm64.zip: Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer). Extract, move Proofpage.app to Applications, then open it.
  • darwin-x86_64.zip: Intel Mac. Extract, move Proofpage.app to Applications, then open it.
  • windows-x86_64.zip: 64-bit Windows 10/11 Intel/AMD. Extract the entire folder and open Proofpage.exe. Keep its support files together.
  • linux-x86_64.tar.gz: 64-bit Linux graphical desktop, built on Ubuntu 22.04. Extract and open the Proofpage executable. Other distributions may require compatible system libraries.

The desktop window has Open workspace and Show data folder buttons. It chooses a free local port automatically and blocks a second desktop instance using the same workspace. Closing it stops the server after active captures finish. Evidence is stored separately in your user folder under Proofpage/data, so replacing application files preserves your work.

Unsigned preview: publisher signing and Apple notarization are not configured. Windows/macOS may warn or block launch. Do not disable operating-system security protections. Automated packaged-GUI checks are not a substitute for signed distribution or manual end-user testing on every supported OS.

For developers

The lowercase proofpage-0.1.2-local.zip, wheel, and source archive remain available for the optional Python/CLI workflow. They require Python 3.11+. There is no managed paid service in this release.

Verification includes 62 tests, Python 3.11/3.13, the container smoke test, guided installation on Windows/macOS/Linux, and packaged GUI startup, real HTTP API, SQLite storage, and shutdown on all four desktop build targets. SHA256SUMS covers the release assets.
