Proofpage 0.5.0 adds reviewed business context and reproducible evidence for AI workflows. Download, extract, and open the desktop app; Python is bundled.
- Build business profiles from selected evidence. Keep your own business, customer material, references, and writing examples separate. Review source passages, export Markdown/JSON context, and reject stale context after sources change.
- Record exactly which excerpts you supplied to an output, replay them offline, and identify outputs affected by changed evidence. The app, 36 local MCP tools, CLI, Python/Node SDKs, and GitHub Action expose this workflow.
- Connect selected Google Docs using read-only OAuth, PKCE and the operating system credential vault. Confirm owner permission before keeping local snapshots. OAuth libraries are bundled; client configuration is still required while the shared Google project remains in Testing. Google API snapshots are for personal context and are rejected by the training workflow in this release.
- Install the bundled skill into a Codex or Claude project through the CLI without overwriting a custom skill. The desktop also offers skill download/copy and a real local MCP check.
- Optional self-hostable read-only remote MCP resource server with OAuth token validation. Requires your own HTTPS host and compatible authorization provider. No live hosted ChatGPT/Claude web connection is activated by this download.
- Fix WACZ root-URL replay in ReplayWeb.page while leaving signed capture receipts unchanged. A fresh archive was rendered with the official ReplayWeb.page 2.5.3 viewer in Chrome.
Back up your private Proofpage/data folder, quit the old app, and replace the application files. The existing library remains in your user folder. Schedules require the app to remain open. Google tokens are stored separately in the OS vault and are not included in database backups. Training exports prepare datasets; they do not train weights or alter ChatGPT/Claude account memory.
Windows remains unsigned and requires Edge WebView2. Linux requires a graphical desktop and WebKitGTK 4.1. Mac downloads are published only after Developer ID signing, Apple acceptance, stapling, and Gatekeeper assessment.
Application source: d9f4753. Release CI: https://github.com/Mehxeo/Proofpage-OpenSource/actions/runs/39168109639. Source validation: 162 Python tests, companion/preferences JavaScript checks, real Node-to-Python integration, and official MCP client/HTTP tests. Packaged tests cover native startup, bundled Google OAuth, MCP calls, image OCR, and scanned-PDF extraction. See SHA256SUMS-0.5.0.txt for final archive hashes.
