First release.

  • Pin the Dock to a chosen display when using multiple monitors.
  • Remembers your anchor choice per combination of connected displays (e.g. separate preferences for a home setup vs. an office setup).
  • Menu-bar only, no Dock icon of its own.
  • Optional login item.
  • Background update check (weekly/monthly/never) against GitHub Releases — never auto-downloads or auto-installs, just links you to the new release.

Install

  1. Download DockAnchor-1.0.0.zip below, unzip, move DockAnchor.app to /Applications.
  2. Right-click → Open the first time (unsigned build, so Gatekeeper needs that one-time override).
  3. Grant Accessibility permission when prompted.
  4. Pick your anchor display from the menu bar icon.
