v0.2.17
Updated for the latest Rocket League patch — bumped the dank/rlapi dependency to v0.1.27 so logins don't fail with "version mismatch" after the game update.
SHA-256: D4C88CDB05789A5994EE94EB76568510BC7869DCF1076B479F7B15D9952ED1BA
This installer isn't code-signed. Windows SmartScreen and some antivirus engines (Microsoft Defender included) may flag it — this is a well-documented false-positive pattern (Trojan:*/Wacatac.*!ml-style heuristic detections) affecting unsigned Go/NSIS-built applications broadly, not something specific to this app. If you hit it: "More info" → "Run anyway" in the SmartScreen prompt.
v0.2.16
Fixed another way a private match series could end up with an orphaned replay. 0.2.15 fixed a failed group-creation call silently dropping matches; this fixes the same failure mode for a match that fails to join a group that already exists — it's now retried on the next match in the series instead of being dropped for good.

v0.2.15
Fixed private match series still occasionally landing with no ballchasing group at all, even after 0.2.14's fix. If creating the group failed (e.g. a transient rate limit while several other series were also being confirmed in the same poll), the match that triggered it was silently dropped instead of retried — losing every earlier match in that series along with it. Every match is now kept and swept into the group once creation actually succeeds.

v0.2.14
Fixed private match series occasionally splitting into two ballchasing groups. Each match's group assignment has to wait on ballchasing's own parsing step, which can take several seconds and doesn't reliably finish in the order the matches actually happened — an unrelated match finishing that wait first could reset the series tracking before the real next match arrived. Matches are now processed in their real order regardless of how long each one's wait takes.

v0.2.12
Fixed logins failing with "version mismatch" after a Rocket League game update — bumped the dank/rlapi dependency to the current game version.
The app now detects a version mismatch itself and shows a dialog explaining it, with a "Check for updates" button and a link to open a GitHub issue, instead of just a generic auth-error log line.
Fixed content getting cut off with no way to scroll on a short window (e.g. keeping the app small on a second monitor) — both the account list and the Settings screen now scroll properly when their content doesn't fit.

v0.2.11
Internal efficiency improvements — no user-visible behavior change:
- Skipped a redundant JSON marshal that ran on every single upload just to check the dedupe cache's size against its safety cap.
- Replay downloads now share the app's tuned HTTP connection pool instead of falling back to a longer, mismatched idle-connection timeout.
- The event log and server log render more efficiently as they grow.
- A couple of small allocation trims elsewhere in account handling.

v0.2.10
Optional upload notifications: a new "Notify me when a replay uploads" setting (off by default) shows a native toast for every successful upload — click it to open the replay on ballchasing.com.
Settings export/import: export every setting plus each account's friendly name, replay visibility, and paused state to a JSON file, and import it on another install. Never includes tokens — accounts still need to be re-added and re-authenticated on the new machine, but imported preferences apply automatically once you do, matched by Epic account ID.

v0.2.9
Double-click the tray icon to open the window, same as "Show Window" from the right-click menu.
The tray's right-click menu now has a "Poll Now" item that checks every account for new replays immediately, without needing to open the window first.
The version number in the corner is now a link to that version's GitHub release page.

v0.2.7
Fixed uploads occasionally failing with "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" after an idle stretch (e.g. right after a gaming session) — a pooled connection ballchasing's server had already closed was being reused and failing outright instead of transparently reconnecting. Idle connections are now retired proactively before this can happen, and any upload that still hits it is now retried automatically instead of failing on the spot.

v0.2.6
Window title now shows a running total of replays uploaded, all-time across every account — just for fun.
Fixed 8 correctness bugs found in a follow-up self-review, checking for the same bug classes the earlier community review caught, recurring in newer code:
- A PsyNet connection could leak (socket + goroutine) if an account was removed or reauthenticated while a retry pass — not the main poll — was touching one of its cached files.
- A panic mid-file in either upload-retry queue could permanently lock an account out of polling until restart.
- The failed-uploads cap could drift above its configured limit under concurrent permanent failures.
- The replay-download host check now resolves DNS names instead of only checking literal IP addresses.
- Quitting the app while a poll was mid-reconnect could fire a spurious "needs reauth" notification for a perfectly valid account.
- Re-enabling "Launch at Windows startup" from the app didn't clear a Task-Manager-set disable flag, so the checkbox could silently revert.
- The "Retry failed uploads now" button was logging its results as automatic instead of manual.
- The upload counter could visibly decrease after a very large account's internal dedupe cache was reset (now backed by a proper persisted counter).
