As Driven 0.22.3

As Driven tells a sim racer which physical controls to fit and how to shift
authentically. This release includes SimHub client 0.22.3 and a
known-good copy of dataset 0.7.0 with 337 reviewed
car records.

What you'll notice

• Driver summaries worth reading. Most cars now tell you something about
  the car itself: why it was built, what it won, or which real era a generic
  class represents, instead of repeating the Fit and Use rows.
• Technique where it matters. Useful notes stay, such as the MP4/4's
  mirrored dogleg gate or a mod that shows the wrong shift pattern.
• Sourced contributions. Researched contributions can now include a
  summary that is checked and reviewed with the rest of the car.
• Era themes for every dated car. Cars whose year is only in their label,
  such as the PMR Javelin and Chaparral 2F, now get their automatic era theme.
• Clear gate conflicts. Where a car's shifter evidence disagrees, the card
  says "Gate conflict - needs review" instead of mixing H-pattern and
  sequential instructions.

The database-only package delivers the new summaries. Install the full plugin
ZIP for the era-theme and gate-conflict fixes.

Install

1. Download As-Driven-for-SimHub-0.22.3.zip below.
2. Extract the ZIP.
3. Close SimHub.
4. Double-click Install As Driven.cmd and approve the Windows prompt.
5. Start SimHub and enable As Driven under Settings > Plugins.

The installer backs up an existing installation and preserves customized
overlay positions by default. See START HERE.txt inside the ZIP for the full
short guide.

Newer versions generally work but have not been verified. The other simulators
in the dataset carry reviewed entries rather than complete rosters.

What Windows will warn you about

Expect two warnings, and neither means something is wrong. The administrator
prompt names an unknown publisher, because a signing certificate is a paid
annual subscription for a free project. Windows may also block the downloaded
ZIP: right-click it, open Properties, tick Unblock, and extract it again.

A .sha256 file is attached beside each ZIP. Comparing it is worth more than a
signature would be, because it tells you the bytes are the published ones.

The database package

as-driven-db-0.7.0.zip is the curated dataset on its own, for clients that are
not SimHub. You do not need it to install or update the plugin: the ZIP above
already carries this dataset.
