196 new entries in 31 new categories, plus additions to 7 existing ones. 147 are enabled by default; 49 are disabled because they may hold data you want to keep. Works on Windows 11 26H2, 25H2, 24H2 and older versions of Windows 11 and Windows 10.

Safety fixes

The whole database was checked for entries that could remove data you want to keep. These were turned off by default:

  • Temporary Internet Files (INetCache): cleaning the whole folder also removed Content.Outlook, where classic Outlook keeps the attachments you open. The Internet Explorer cache inside it (INetCache\IE) is still cleaned.
  • qBittorrent BT_backup: holds your torrent list and resume data. Removing it emptied the torrent list.
  • Spotify Storage (desktop and Microsoft Store versions): this is where downloaded songs for offline listening are kept. The rest of the Spotify cache is still cleaned.
  • Xtreme Download Manager data folder
  • Browser WebSQL storage (databases) in 24 browser categories, so it now matches IndexedDB and Local Storage, which were already off

Also fixed:

  • 9 entries that appeared twice were removed, so their size is no longer counted twice during a scan
  • Entry names with spaces and names shared by different paths were renamed

Windows 11 26H2, 25H2 and 24H2

  • Windows AI & Copilot (new): web caches and temp folders of the Windows AI components behind Recall, Click to Do and the AI actions in File Explorer, and of the Copilot key provider. Recall snapshots stay disabled, as before.
  • Windows Administrator Protection (new): Windows 11 can create a separate ADMIN_ profile when Administrator protection is turned on. Its temp files, web cache, thumbnail cache, error reports and crash dumps are now cleaned. Recent files and the DirectX shader cache stay disabled.
  • Windows Shell Apps: temp files and web cache of the recommendations app used by the redesigned Start menu
  • Windows Security & Sign-in Apps: temp files and web cache of the work or school account sign-in broker. Its saved sign-in data stays disabled, because removing it can sign you out of work or school accounts.
  • Xbox Services: temp files and web cache of Microsoft Edge for Game Bar

Microsoft Store apps

  • Microsoft Store Default Apps (new): temp files and web caches of Microsoft Edge (Store package), WinGet sources, Xbox speech-to-text overlay, Microsoft Journal, Whiteboard, PC Manager, Windows Scan, Network Speed Test, Power BI, Windows Subsystem for Linux, Windows Subsystem for Android and the HEIF, HEVC, RAW and web media extensions. Local caches that hold app data (Journal, Whiteboard, Power BI, and the Android apps of Windows Subsystem for Android) stay disabled.

Older Windows versions

  • Windows 8.1 & 10 Legacy Apps (new): temp files and web caches of apps that stay on PCs upgraded from older Windows versions: Messaging, Mobile Plans, Print 3D, Wallet, Xbox Console Companion, Sway, Reader, Reading List and the Bing Finance, Sports, Travel, Food & Drink and Health & Fitness apps
  • Windows Update & Servicing: leftover upgrade folders $WINDOWS.~Q and $Windows.~LS

Apps (11 new categories)

  • Code editors: Kiro, Google Antigravity (both the old and the new Antigravity IDE folder), Zed and Neovim. Caches, logs and crash reports are enabled; workspace data, settings, swap files and history stay disabled.
  • AnythingLLM Desktop: logs. Vector cache, documents and downloaded models stay disabled.
  • pgAdmin 4, Elgato Stream Deck, Rainmeter, Sunshine Game Streaming: log files. Rainmeter settings stay disabled.
  • Tailscale: client and service logs
  • Zig: global build cache

Games and launchers

  • Epic Games Launcher: the launcher web cache (webcache and webcache_4147) is now cleaned, as recommended by Epic Games support. webcache was disabled before.
  • Riot Games: new Legends of Runeterra and 2XKO categories with game logs. League of Legends replays, highlights and settings, and Fortnite replays were added as disabled entries.
  • Shader caches: Helldivers 2, Path of Exile 2 (DirectX 12 and Vulkan), Monster Hunter Wilds. The game rebuilds them on the next launch, which can take a minute or two.
  • Level cache: Baldur's Gate 3
  • Logs and crash reports: Marvel Rivals, The Finals, Throne and Liberty, Stardew Valley (including SMAPI), Terraria (tModLoader), Wuthering Waves, Diablo IV, R.E.P.O.
  • Save games, replays, recordings, screenshots and game settings stay disabled: Baldur's Gate 3, Stardew Valley, Terraria, Elden Ring, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, R.E.P.O., Marvel Rivals, Wuthering Waves, League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, 2XKO, Fortnite

Notes

  • Entries only show up when the app, game or Windows feature is installed. Missing ones are skipped automatically, so the same database works on every supported Windows version.
  • Wuthering Waves, Diablo IV, Monster Hunter Wilds, League of Legends and Legends of Runeterra settings use the default install folders.
  • No new path is the same as, or a prefix of, another entry's path.
