  • Groundwork for signed downloads. Windows SmartScreen warns about the installer on first run because the executables are not code signed. The release build now submits them to the SignPath Foundation to be signed, and the download page and README carry the signing policy SignPath asks for. The certificate is still being issued, so releases until then are unsigned and the warning stays; nothing you need to do either way.
