NN Browser – v1.2.1-Beta4

New and fixed in this beta:

  • New update system: The browser now checks for new versions automatically in the background. If an update is available, a small yellow dot appears on the settings icon.
  • Update on your terms: Nothing is downloaded until you want it. Open the settings and click "Update now" – the new version is downloaded with a progress bar, installed silently, and the browser restarts by itself.
  • Start page fixed: The start page now always opens right away, even if the browser's storage is slow or locked. The custom background image loads in afterwards.
  • More reliable startup: A problem in one part of the startup no longer prevents the browser from opening.
  • Data folder: The data folder shown in the settings can be displayed and opened again.
  • Clearer update errors: If the update server cannot be reached or answers incorrectly, a readable error is shown instead of failing silently.
  • Version: Updated to 1.2.1-Beta4 everywhere.
