What's New

Smart Window Snap

Custom capture (-cs) now automatically detects and highlights windows and controls under your cursor — no more dragging by hand when you just want a window.

• Move the mouse over the overlay to highlight any window, panel, toolbar, sidebar, or child control
• A teal border appears around the detected region; everything outside is dimmed
• Click a highlighted region to capture it instantly
• Drag anywhere to fall back to a free-selection rectangle. Both modes work in the same overlay
• Moving more than 4 px after pressing the mouse button automatically switches to drag mode
• Right-click or Esc to cancel at any time

Window enumeration runs on a background thread so the overlay opens immediately with no freeze.

Window Capture Modes

The Window Capture example has been split into two modes:

🟦 Exclusive Mode (UsePrintWindow=1)

Captures only the target window, excluding any overlapping or obscuring windows.

🟩 Screen-Based Mode (UsePrintWindow=0)

Captures exactly what’s visible on the screen, including any overlapping windows or content in front of the target window.
