GIF recording

  • Full animated GIF capture pipeline with disk-backed frame cache (stable memory use on long recordings)
  • Capture modes: full screen, snap/region, predefined region, and window-by-title
  • Toggle, stop, cancel, pause, and resume bangs (-gif-start, -gif-stop, -gif-cancel, -gif-pause, -gif-toggle, and mode variants)
  • Live recording overlay (Stop / Pause / Abort + timer) that does not steal focus from Rainmeter
  • Encoding progress window and optional state dialogs for invalid start/stop commands
  • GIF lifecycle actions: GifStartAction, GifStopAction, GifCancelAction, GifPauseAction, GifResumeAction, GifEncodingAction, GifFinishAction
  • Settings: GifSavePath, GifFPS, GifDuration, GifQuality, GifCompression, GifSkipIdenticalFrames, overlay/encoding/dialog toggles, and GIF predefined region
  • Inter-frame encode optimisations (exact/near-duplicate coalesce, dirty banding) controlled by GifCompression
