What's new

This release brings NWAC's weather station data in-house. Now every station now has a native page with current-conditions tables, interactive graphs, accumulated precipitation, and CSV downloads replacing the legacy data portal. Alongside it, shared links to blog posts and events get rich preview images, and a round of A3 and mobile polish lands.

  • Weather station data is served natively now — each NWAC station has its own page with current conditions, wind, temperature and precipitation (#1145)
  • New Accumulated Precipitation page compares season totals across stations at a glance (#1156)
  • Station pages have interactive graphs: zoom a period, compare stations, and hide charts you don't need (#1158)
  • Download a full year of a station's observations as a CSV, in imperial or metric (#1157)
  • Station tables consolidated into one tab with a 24-hour / 7-day / 30-day switch, an imperial-metric toggle, and sizing that works on a phone (#1172)
  • Graph controls moved into a compact toolbar with an "Edit graphs" panel for period, units, and comparison stations (#1174)
  • Station pages updated from forecaster review — legacy decimal precision, tabs that stay pinned as you scroll, reordered graphs, a freezing line on equipment temperature, and retired stations still reachable for downloads (#1196)
  • Blog posts and events now generate a rich preview image when shared to social media or messaging apps (#1151)
  • A3 course filters show Mode of Travel above Course Type (#1164)
  • The A3 provider pop-up drops the location line and reorders contact details (#1166)
  • Event descriptions are capped at 200 characters, so long text can't break event layouts (#1150)

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • The mobile header and announcement banners stay pinned while the page scrolls instead of sliding away (#1181)
  • Form embeds keep their styling instead of having it stripped when saved (#1173)
  • Forecast and map data refresh on schedule again — responses were being cached far longer than intended (#1186)
  • Station graph tooltips no longer float over the site header and menus, CSV downloads show a spinner while a year of data is gathered, and the download captcha moved to Cloudflare Turnstile (#1227)

  • Builds moved to Blacksmith runners (#1139)
  • Preview deploys seed their database locally and bulk-import it, cutting preview setup time (#1144)
