v0.4.0 — quest leveling guidance

Quest/leveling advice is now computed deterministically instead of left to the model to guess.

Highlights

• Efficiency over raw XP — quests ranked by effective XP at your realm rate, each as a % of your level, plus "how many quests cover this level" (needs Questie/pfQuest + XP bar).
• Skip the right ones — gray quests flagged as skippable, but quests in a chain are kept.
• Less running around — in-zone objectives grouped into clusters with compass bearings from your position.
• No more invented directions — the model relays computed bearings and admits when it doesn't know the route.
• Spawn density hints (count) from Questie/pfQuest, and player.xp now sent to the companion.

Note

Quest XP is the client value × your configured xpMultiplier (an estimate) — verify in-game whether your server already shows multiplied XP.

Binaries (Windows/macOS/Linux) are attached below once the build workflow finishes.

Azeroth Companion v0.1.0

First release of Azeroth Companion — an in-game AI chatbot for World of Warcraft (quests, dungeons, raids), grounded in your live game state and powered by any OpenAI-compatible endpoint (free options included).

Install (two parts)

1. Addon: copy addon/AzerothCompanion into your client's Interface/AddOns/.
2. Companion app: grab the prebuilt binary for your OS below (attached once the build finishes), or run companion/azeroth_companion.py (Python 3.8+, no deps).
3. Get a free AI key: follow the click-by-click guide → docs/SETUP-ENDPOINT.md.
