wex is built as a part of the SAM build process. See the instructions on the SAM wiki: https://github.com/NatLabRockies/SAM/wiki/Linux-Build-Instructions

If only building wex and not SAM:

  • Google Test is not required
  • OR-Tools is not required
  • LK is required but the other SAM repositories are not
