Welcome to the SEKO3 project wiki!

The current SEKO vocabulary is administered by the Finnish Expert Group on Music Metadata MUUSA) on the finto.fi platform.

This Github site is a volunteer project to update the monolingual vocabulary into a multilingual linked data version.

In this wiki we plan to

• Gather information on the guidelines, editorial process and decisions of the previous versions the vocabulary.
• Plan the new data model structure for the multilingual linked data SEKO vocabulary
• Plan the editorial guidelines for maintaining the new dataset - (e.g. github-issues, commenting and decision making)
• Document information sources supporting the musical instrument data maintenance
• Direct users to the current guidelines of musical content description in Finland and the use of SEKO.
• Any other data assisting the work of MUUSA expert group in SEKO development and maintenance.
