Presets
Each shape tab in the full menu has Save preset and Load preset at the bottom of its panel. With a hologram out, Presets in the radial menu opens the same list for that shape.
A preset stores its shape's settings: an ellipse's size and fill, an equation and its ranges, or a Bézier's points. It can also store your block choices. It doesn't store where the shape is, which way it faces or a 2D shape's depth.
Every kind of shape has its own presets, so a torus preset doesn't show up under Ellipsoid.
Saving asks for a name, filled in from the shape's settings, like "Ellipse 31×19, thin". Saving under an existing name replaces that preset.
Turn on Save blocks to also save the block for each piece type and whether it's used.
Load preset lists every preset for the current shape, with a search bar. Hover a preset to preview it, or select one and press Preview to keep its picture up. Double-click a preset to load it. A 3D preset's picture turns when you drag it.
The Blocks button decides whether loading also takes the preset's blocks. With it off, you keep your own. It's greyed out for a preset saved without blocks.
Hover or select a preset to show its pin, rename and delete buttons. Pinned presets stay at the top. Delete asks for confirmation first.
The mod comes with a few example equations as presets. You can rename or delete them like any other.
Each preset is one file in .minecraft/config/curvegen/presets/. Copy the folder, or single files from it, to move presets to another instance.
Presets from version 1 load in version 2 unchanged.
