What's new

  • Added Pet Workshop for installed Codex pets, with an animated preview and a focused package editor.
  • Added editable package metadata: name, description, category, creator, license, source page, version, and tags.
  • Added draft validation, HTTPS source checks, tag limits, and redistribution-license guidance.
  • Added Save and install to update a local pet package safely.
  • Added Export ZIP to create a shareable Codex-compatible package containing only pet.json and the spritesheet.
  • Added complete English and Chinese UI, including empty, loading, validation, success, and error states.

Privacy and safety

  • Pet Workshop reads only pets already installed on the current device.
  • Packages and account data are never uploaded by the workshop.
  • Exported ZIP files contain only the validated pet manifest and spritesheet.

Verification

  • 21 frontend tests passed.
  • 8 Rust tests passed; 2 live-environment integration tests were intentionally ignored.
  • TypeScript checks, production web build, Rust formatting and compilation passed.
  • Windows x64 NSIS installer built successfully.
