ROCK BAND TO KARAOKE CONVERTER (NEW FEATURE!)

  • Converts Rock Band song files to .mp3 + .cdg files for use with most karaoke players - see Help information in the tool

SETLIST MANAGER

  • Added field to keep track of when a song is added to your setlist - this will work best when making a new setlist going forward as it has no way of knowing retroactively when you added something - you can sort by date just like you can sort by all other fields
  • Merged pull request by jcollums that added filtering option for songs with no vocals (before it was just only masculine and feminine, now there's a third option)
  • Fixed broken importing of yarg.json and Clone Hero ch.json setlists - thanks to RazQ for pointing out the issue
  • Fixed code that searches for lyrics to the selected song to get around bug in the API that would hang when it didn't recognize the song, freezing Nautilus

QUICK PACK EDITOR

  • Fixed broken dePACKing feature that was apparently broken since v5.4.0??? Should work fine now

CLONE HERO CONVERTER

  • Merged pull request by jcollums that fixed the "don't add hopo threshold" toggle as brought up by ataeaf
  • Added placeholder video_start_time = line to the .ini file as requested by MrPrezident

SAVE FILE IMAGE EDITOR

  • Fixed (?) long-standing issue with transparent art images when being applied in game to characters
  • Added workaround for user ScientistsSay (and anyone else on the same boat) that has their images offset off by one byte - click on Options and select ScientistsSay Offset Fix and try loading your PS3 save then

QUICK DTA EDITOR

  • Merged pull request by jcollums that fixed Quick DTA Editor not detecting when there were no changes to the DTA file

UPGRADE BUNDLER

  • Fixed issue where bundling MIDI with MIDI would fail due to missing DTA file (which was not needed)

MAIN FORM

  • Moved around a ton of buttons to re-organize in a way that (to me) makes more sense
  • Removed button for Video Preparer as that feature is not being used by anyone in 2025 - if you still need it, it can be accessed via shortcut argument
  • Fixed quirky behavior that would sometimes default to the black starry sky background image, which would make it seem as if all the (transparent) buttons disappeared
