Student Portal
A private space where your students can see their work, study, and talk to you — no email address or account sign-up needed.
For students: this page explains what you can do in the portal. Your teacher gives you a share link or QR code — scan it or open it, and you're in.

The portal is read-only to the world: only the teacher's link works, and each student only ever sees their own data.
A single list of everything assigned to you — essays and tests — grouped into Overdue / Planned / Completed, each with its status and due date.
Your own CEFR radar chart — how you're doing per criterion across the rubrics your teacher has graded for you. Shown once you have at least 3 graded criteria.
If your teacher shares a self-assessment link, you score yourself against the rubric's Can-Do statements. Your self-scores appear next to the teacher's scores (the teacher sees both; you see your own).
- Write in a distraction-free focus mode with a live "draft saved" badge, and a sidebar with the prompt, word/time targets, and tips
- Your draft autosaves; submit when you're done
- With Supabase connected, essays hand in automatically; otherwise you use the submission code your teacher gives you
- Take assigned tests (one question at a time for adaptive placement tests) with an optional timer and a colour-coded question palette — flag questions for review and come back to them
- Practice mode tests let you retake and show per-question explanations afterwards; listening questions have an audio player
- Placement tests adapt to your level as you go, ending with a provisional CEFR estimate
- Study the decks your teacher assigned with Again / Hard / Good / Easy ratings — spaced repetition schedules your reviews
- Create your own decks to study your own words; they're private to you unless you tap "Share with my teacher"
A timeline of short articles your teacher publishes — with an unread badge. Each flash may link to a deck, test, or rubric.
- Ask your teacher a question about a rubric grade, a test, an essay — or anything else. They reply in their Messages inbox, and you see the reply here
- If your teacher asked you for extra feedback or explanation on a graded item, respond right in the portal
Some teachers share your CEFR overview and learning-path recommendations (which skills to focus on, suggested grammar practice). These are the same views your teacher sees — you just get your own.
Do I need to create an account? No. You only need the link your teacher gives you. (If your school uses Supabase and your teacher linked your email, you may be asked to verify it once.)
Can I see other students' work? No. The portal only ever shows your own data.
What happens if I lose the link? Ask your teacher — they can generate a new one.
Can I use my phone? Yes — the portal works on phones, tablets, and computers.
Is my writing private? Your essays, answers, and messages are visible to you and your teacher only.
