Quickstart
Get MographJailed running and issue your first command in about two minutes.
Rather not use the terminal much? → Designer Install — one command, plain-English questions, done.
- A Mac with stock
/bin/zsh(any recent macOS). - That's it. No Homebrew, no Node, no Python packages, no Xcode, no admin password.
git clone https://github.com/NeuralIO444/Mograph_Jailed_OSX_CLI.git
cd Mograph_Jailed_OSX_CLIThere is nothing to install. The tool is a script you run directly.
MographJailed takes request files — small text files describing one command — and prints one JSON answer.
printf 'MOGRAPHJAILED_REQUEST 1\nrequestId=hello\ncommand=system.probe\n' > /tmp/mj-request.txt
zsh -f dist/mograph-jailed.zsh --request /tmp/mj-request.txtYou'll get a JSON envelope on stdout describing your Mac and which native capabilities are available. Every command answers the same way: one JSON object, ok: true with data, or ok: false with an error code.
You'll be writing request files a lot, so save this helper:
mj() { # mj <command> [name=value]...
local cmd="$1"; shift
local req; req=$(mktemp /tmp/mj-req.XXXXXX)
{
printf 'MOGRAPHJAILED_REQUEST 1\n'
printf 'requestId=req-%s\n' "$(date +%s)"
printf 'command=%s\n' "$cmd"
for kv in "$@"; do
printf 'arg.%s=%s\n' "${kv%%=*}" "$(printf '%s' "${kv#*=}" | base64 | tr -d '\n')"
done
} > "$req"
zsh -f dist/mograph-jailed.zsh --request "$req"
rm -f "$req"
}Then commands become one-liners:
mj system.probe
mj file.inspect path=/path/to/something.movArguments are base64-encoded in the request file — the helper does that for you. Paths must be absolute.
-
mj system.describe— lists all 27 operations and the capability registry. -
Tier 0 Observer — snapshot an
.aep, lint its expressions, audit your plugins. - Dashboard — watch it all in a live btop-style terminal view.
-
mj-man— offline help in your terminal (see Help Commands).
