Supported Platforms:

  • SteamVR, Windows 64-bit
  • Oculus Rift Software, Windows 64-bit
  • Coming soon to Oculus Standalone.

Advanced Settings (User options):

  • Transition Time: Overall time to transition when the user is focused (range [15sec, 70sec], default 30sec)
  • Difficulty: Determines the time to regain focus (range [~2.5sec, ~15sec], default ~5sec), as well as how fast time reverses (range [x0.5, max x3.5], default x2).
  • Sensitivity: Scales how movements lead to becoming unfocused (Low to High, default allows for slow and steady movements without becoming unfocused).

If you are interested, the dev settings are disabled by default. Developer Options: This is a little complicated but really easy to mess with. All values displayed are in terms of % way through the transition. A value of 0.11 is equivalent to (or happens at) 11% progress (thus 1.0 = 100% = End).

  • The options on the left control when specific things start and finish. For example, "Conforming" begins once the left value is reached, and ends once the right value is reached.
  • The 4 vertical sliders on the right control when the offset for each group.
  • The two blue-tinted options at the bottom are not affected by the offsets (4 right sliders). For example, all groups fade in the high-quality assets at the same time.
  • If a group name (aka Rocks, Terrain, Trees + Foliage) turns red, this means that the offset is pushing some of the finish times past the end of the experience. (Ex: if fading out particles ends at 0.8 and trees are offset by 0.5, 0.8+0.5 = 1.3, where 1 is the end of the experience). This will not cause an error but the times will be shortened to fit within the timeline.
