OpenCrown PC v1.0.2

Version 1.0.2 of OpenCrown PC for Windows and Linux / Steam Deck (64-bit).

Requires your own dump of Dragon's Crown Pro (CUSA10454), updated to the latest patch (1.03), with the decrypted eboot.bin. Encrypted PS4 PKGs are not supported.

Downloads:

• Windows: OpenCrownPC-v1.0.2-win64.zip. Unzip, run OpenCrownPC Launcher.exe.
• Linux / Steam Deck: OpenCrown-Linux-1.0.2-x86_64.AppImage. Make it executable and run it. Needs glibc 2.35 or newer (SteamOS 3.5+, Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Fedora, Arch).

Already on v1.0.1? Use the Update button at the bottom left of the launcher.

Fixes

• Linux / Steam Deck: fixed crackling sound on the Steam Deck and Steam Machine. Sound now goes through PulseAudio, the same way it does under Proton. If you still hear crackling, please send a report from the Report a Bug page: the log now records audio dropouts.
• Renaming a bag or naming a hero no longer freezes the game. A text box opens where you type the name. On the Steam Deck, press Steam+X for the on-screen keyboard, Start to confirm and B to cancel.
• Online: if the connection to the lobby server drops during a session, the game no longer hangs at the next stage load. It carries on offline instead.

New

• The launcher's Game page checks that your dump is the latest patch (1.03). An older version is marked "[wrong version]" and the Play button stays off until you dump the updated game from your PS4/PS5.

The Linux / Steam Deck AppImage of this version has been removed. Please download the latest release instead.
