Backporting NixOS#462390 from master to release-25.05. The automatic workflow by the @nixpkgs-ci bot failed to run on its own. I originally attempted this in NixOS#463528, but it went wrong, and this PR is a fresh attempt. (cherry picked from commit 76d3a32)
