What's new

  • Controller-style touch controls: L1/L2 on the left, R1/R2 on the right, and Select beside Start. Touch buttons share controller behavior, including contextual shoulder zoom and BUILD/DIG material cycling.
  • Simpler keyboard shortcut: R2 opens the keyboard on the touch overlay unless shortcuts are Off. Existing Select/L2 shortcut settings migrate to the default. Dedicated keyboard and +/− buttons have been removed.
  • Select map shortcut patch: open the in-game map directly with Select. Select or B closes it and returns to gameplay; map zoom and teleport remain available.
  • Controller button prompts patch: built-in instructions now name A/B, L1/R1, Start, and the D-pad, including the clothes-color and appearance prompts. Start confirms nickname/sign edits without interfering with typed text; keyboard Enter still works.
  • Clearer patch settings: bold patch names and more space between descriptions.
  • Improved input cleanup for held buttons, canceled touches, duplicate releases, and disconnected controllers.

Both new patches are enabled by default under Patches → Enhancements, can be toggled independently, and take effect on the next game start. Neither changes the save format. Host/debug camera controls remain keyboard-only.

Install or update

Download PokeWilds-Android-1.0.0-arm64.apk below. Save and quit before installing it over your existing app. It uses the existing signing key; no uninstall is needed, so saves and settings are retained.

This release targets ARM64 Android. The touch controls, map shortcut, controller prompts, and patch settings layout were tested on the AYANEO Pocket DMG. The game remains based on PokeWilds 0.8.11; the Android app version is now 1.0.0.

Verification

  • Android tests, patch transformation tests, and strict Java bytecode verification passed.
  • Signed release APK packaging and signature checks passed.
