• Atlas no longer skips files that are still at their source. The index previously matched the source file against itself, causing every indexed file to be flagged as "Already Owned" and skipped.
• Atlas‑skipped files now count toward overall progress. The progress bar reaches 100% even when nothing is copied.
• Delta Copy "already up to date" files now count toward progress. Same fix, applied to the delta path.
• Delta Copy pause is now fully asynchronous.
• Null‑hash guard in the Atlas database reader. Rows with an empty hash column no longer throw an InvalidCastException.

Other

• Atlas and Delta Copy are opt‑in via Settings.
• Delta Copy falls back to a full copy automatically when more than 60% of blocks changed.
• Atlas operations are best‑effort and never fail a transfer.

🧠 Atlas — The Index That Knows Your Files

Atlas builds a local, content‑addressed index of every file on every drive you've scanned. Before copying, Aura asks Atlas whether identical content already exists anywhere on your indexed drives. If yes, the file is skipped with an Already Owned status — no bytes move.

• Matches by content hash, not filename
• Runs quietly in the background, pauses automatically during transfers
• Fully local — nothing leaves your machine
• Enable Atlas Smart Skip in Settings to activate

⚡ Delta Copy — Only the Changes Move

Traditional copiers re‑write entire files even when only a small part changed. Delta Copy breaks files into blocks, compares them by hash, and transfers only the blocks that differ.

⚠️ About This Beta

• Atlas needs time to index. Smart Skip only kicks in after the background scanner has catalogued a drive.
• Delta Copy is new. If it fails on unusual filesystems or network shares, Aura falls back to a normal copy automatically.

New Features

BLAKE3 Verification – A new, cutting‑edge hash algorithm that combines cryptographic security with speeds rivaling xxHash3. Ideal for users who want both assurance and performance without compromise. BLAKE3 joins existing Quick (xxHash3) and Full (SHA‑256) modes, selectable in Settings.

Per‑File Progress Panel – A clean, auto‑resizing panel now shows live, individual progress bars for each file being transferred simultaneously. This gives an at‑a‑glance overview of all active copies without cluttering the interface. Bars disappear automatically when files finish, keeping the UI focused.

Three Transfer Modes – Users can now choose the I/O strategy that best fits their hardware and task:

• Normal – Standard buffered copy, compatible with all drives.

• Turbo – Larger, sequentially‑optimised buffers for faster SSD transfers.

• Extreme – Unbuffered Direct I/O for maximum speed on NVMe drives.

Each mode includes clear tooltips explaining the trade‑offs.

Cancellation Rollback – Cancelling a transfer now completely removes all files and folders that were created during the job, leaving the destination exactly as it was before the operation started. No more half‑copied leftovers.
Performance Improvements

Overall speed and ETA now reflect the entire job, not just the current file. These values remain stable and realistic, even when transferring many small files.

The smoothing algorithm prevents the displayed speed from jumping wildly during cache flushes, giving a more accurate and professional feel.

Thread‑safe speed tracking eliminated a rare race condition that could cause files to be skipped in Normal mode.

A new duplicate file transfer feature with user can find a duplicate of a file even if it's saved with a different name.

Fixes

• Fixed an issue where speed and ETA would get stuck at “Calculating…” or flip to zero between files.

• Resolved a problem where Normal mode could intermittently miss files during transfers.

• Job cancellation now reliably deletes partially written files and empty directories.

• The main form no longer unexpectedly appears from the tray when a new transfer starts.

• Parallel files upload upto 10
• Now users can manually select the buffer size
• File verification checks (now supports Xxhash3, which is ultra-fast and also Sha-256 for more secure verification)
• If a duplicate file is found, a dialog will automatically appear with information like: Filename, Size, File Hash, and Modified Date to let you decide if it needs to be replaced or not.
• 'Apply to All' option to overwrite, skip, or rename duplicate file(s) for a specific transfer job.

• Now, you can simply enable or disable the right-click context menu and also the hotkey detection (Control + V), so you can decide whether you want the Windows file transfer dialog or Aura file transfer dialog.
• Now, when one file fails, other files continue processing (unless you choose to stop the job on the first error).
• Now, it supports partial file detection. If a file transfer got interrupted, next time if you try to transfer the same file, it will start from where it left off instead of transferring the whole file again, which saves a lot of time in a bigger file transfer.
