Luna Player 1.4.3CC (beta)

Beta — Luna Player 1.4.3CC. Installed Luna offers it only with betas turned on (Settings › General › Updates). For everyone else, 1.3.9 stays the current version.

New

• The same look on every screen: on screens narrower than 1920 points (for example Windows scaling at 125% or 150%), Luna zooms out a little so text, spacing and the top bar sit as on a 1920-wide screen. To turn it off: Settings › "Fit the layout to the screen". The top bar's labels fold away only when the tabs don't fit.
• Full screen on first start: Luna opens full screen the first time on a computer; F11 leaves it.
• The assistant opens big: the big workspace is the default. In the small bubble each title now has the same ⋯ menu (Watched, Liked, Disliked, Watch later, Trailer) instead of the old tick box.

Fixed

• Taskbar: a window that came back taller than the screen is now shrunk to fit above the taskbar. Before, the taskbar covered the assistant's input.
• Full screen: the ⛶ / ✕ buttons only appear at the very top edge, so they no longer block the "Recommendations" tab.
• Assistant with OpenAI, Claude or a base URL:
  • It now reads your and your friends' Letterboxd.
  • Before, any message that mentioned Letterboxd was sent to the "film links" tool.
  • It knows the Letterboxd addresses and uses your notes, diary and lists.
  • Trivia questions keep Luna's tools.
• Releases: every change is now built and tested on GitHub (CI), and each release is checked live: downloads, checksums and the updater file.
