Open the agent's private Linux desktop whenever you want with:

linux-computer-use watch

The local browser viewer shows live frames and the current tool activity. Choose a session or display, pause the view, use fullscreen, or confirm Stop session to cancel active input and close owned private applications. Closing the viewer leaves the agent working and keeps your own keyboard and mouse independent.

The viewer supports native and rootless container MCP/CLI sessions. It uses private same-user sockets and authenticated loopback HTTP, with no recording or hosted service. Restart existing controllers after upgrading.

Image build and installation now prepare Podman's rootless user mapping before the MCP startup deadline. Custom image users can run linux-computer-use prepare before connecting their harness.

Validation: real private KWin, container Sway and Xvfb; animated frames during dragging; frame-ID preservation; capture-helper crash recovery; cancellation and cleanup; native CLI; browser pause/fullscreen/reload/stop; 24 input, installer and spectator boundary contracts. See docs/watch-validation.json and the Actions run for the exact scope. Physical Omarchy validation and macOS/Windows performance comparisons remain unclaimed.

This release also includes the removal of the dedicated Omarchy guide and the 0.1.1 installer backup fix. Future Omarchy ecosystem integration is outside this standalone project.

Extract linux-computer-use-0.2.0.tar.gz and run ./install.sh; use --update for an existing installation. SHA256SUMS verifies the download and MANIFEST.sha256 verifies its contents. The extracted installer was tested without Git metadata.

Public preview. See the support matrix and validation record for tested configurations.
