English summary: first 0.8.0 test build, with Windows, macOS (Apple Silicon) and Linux (AppImage) in one pre-release. New: multiple Antigravity accounts, the Argon pool, a bars style, Antigravity in the Costs tab, and the Linux AppImage built on Ubuntu 22.04 (glibc 2.35+). macOS has not been tested on a real Mac yet: feedback is welcome in Issues.

Changed

  • Autoria: LICENSE, README (seção Autor), Cargo.toml, package.json e o instalador do Windows (publisher/copyright) passam a mostrar Nycolas Monteiro (NyckDragon). A licença continua MIT.

v0.7.0 · macOS beta 2 (Apple Silicon)

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@NyckDragon NyckDragon released this 30 Sep 00:12
330f999

Second macOS beta, Apple Silicon only. Not signed or notarized. Windows 0.7.0 is still the main release.

Changes

  • The prompt shortcut is now Control + Option + Command + Space. Command + Option + Space is Finder search, and Control + Option + Space switches keyboard languages.
  • Claude Code is read from the macOS Keychain, where it keeps its login. macOS asks once for permission.
  • "Connect Claude" works when your user folder name has a space.

Testers: please report the shortcut, the Keychain prompt, the dock in fullscreen and across Spaces, and paste after allowing Accessibility.

v0.7.0 · Linux beta 2 (Omarchy / Hyprland)

Choose a tag to compare

@NyckDragon NyckDragon released this 30 Sep 00:11
3b546da

Second Linux beta, for Hyprland (Omarchy). Windows 0.7.0 is still the main release.

Fixes

  • The dock stays pinned. Before, it pinned and unpinned itself every few seconds.
  • Maximizing a window no longer hides the dock. Only real fullscreen does.
  • Paste falls back to wtype or ydotool when Hyprland refuses the shortcut.
  • Works with Hyprland's Lua config as well as the classic one.

Testers: please report dock pinning across workspaces, maximize vs fullscreen, the dock edge, paste, and quota for the four providers.

v0.7.0 · macOS beta 1 (Apple Silicon)

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@NyckDragon NyckDragon released this 28 Sep 04:13

Build from commit 8fc7b27 on the macos-beta branch, for testers on Apple Silicon. It does not replace the Windows 0.7.0 release.

Added

  • Dock on macOS: the same side dock, on the left or right edge, kept on top and visible on every Space. The menu bar tray, the global shortcut and start at login are included. If another always-on-top window moves in front, the dock puts its floating level back and orders itself forward, without becoming the active app.
  • Full screen: the dock hides while another app covers a whole display, including a game or a presentation, and returns when that app leaves. A window that is only zoomed, with the menu bar still showing, does not count.
  • Claude: the claude.ai cookie is stored in the login Keychain, the same four values as on Windows. Claude Code is looked up in ~/.local/bin, Homebrew (/opt/homebrew/bin) and /usr/local/bin, because an app opened from the tray does not inherit the Terminal's PATH. Sign-in opens in Terminal.
  • Antigravity: the installed app is found in /Applications/Antigravity.app or ~/Applications, and the language server is read with ps and lsof.
  • Paste: copying the prompt works as before. Returning it to the previous app focuses that app and sends Command-V. The first time, macOS asks for Accessibility. If you deny it, the previous app still comes forward and the paste does not happen. The question is asked once each time the app is open.

Known issues

  • The app is not signed or notarized. Gatekeeper warns the first time you open it (right-click AI Dock → Open, or allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security).
  • There is no Intel build.

Open an issue with what broke: the two edges, two monitors, switching Spaces, the tray, the shortcut, starting at login, quota for Claude, Codex, Cursor and Antigravity, hiding for a full-screen app, the dock coming back to the front, and pasting after Accessibility is allowed.

Build do commit 8fc7b27 no branch macos-beta, para teste no Apple Silicon. Não substitui o release 0.7.0 de Windows.

Added

O login abre no Terminal.
  • Colar: copiar o prompt continua igual.

v0.7.0 · Linux beta 1 (Omarchy / Hyprland)

Choose a tag to compare

@NyckDragon NyckDragon released this 28 Sep 23:00

Build from commit 7b82bf2 on the linux-beta branch, for testers on Omarchy (Hyprland). It does not replace the Windows 0.7.0 release.

Added

  • Dock on Linux: the same side dock, on the left or right edge. Hyprland floats that window and pins it to every workspace, using the window it actually created, not a guessed class name. The menu bar tray, the global shortcut and start at login are included. If another window moves in front, the dock asks Hyprland to raise it again, without becoming the active app.
  • Full screen: the dock hides while the active Hyprland window is fullscreen, including a game or a presentation, and returns when that window leaves. A maximized window does not count. Without hyprctl, the dock stays visible.
  • Claude: the claude.ai cookie goes to the Secret Service when that service is running, the same four values as on Windows. If the service is installed but stopped, AI Dock starts gnome-keyring-daemon once. If no secret service is available, the cookie stays in the kernel keyring for this session and is gone after a reboot. Claude Code is looked up in ~/.local/bin, ~/.claude/local and /usr/bin, because an app opened from the tray does not inherit the shell PATH. Sign-in opens a terminal.
  • Antigravity: the language server is read with ps and ss.
  • Paste: copying the prompt works as before. Returning it to the previous app focuses that window and sends Ctrl+V through Hyprland. If that dispatcher is missing, AI Dock tries wtype and then ydotool. If none of them is available, the previous app still comes forward and the paste does not happen.

Known issues

  • The AppImage is not signed.
  • This build is for Hyprland. On another desktop the dock can open as a normal tiled window, and paste falls back to wtype or ydotool.
  • The global shortcut on Wayland depends on the desktop portal. If it does not register, say so in the issue.

Run it with:

chmod +x "AI.Dock_0.7.0_amd64.AppImage"
./"AI.Dock_0.7.0_amd64.AppImage"

If it complains about FUSE, install fuse2, or extract it:

./"AI.Dock_0.7.0_amd64.AppImage" --appimage-extract
./squashfs-root/AppRun

Open an issue with what broke: the two edges, two monitors, switching workspaces, the tray, the shortcut, starting at login, quota for Claude, Codex, Cursor and Antigravity, hiding for a full-screen app, the dock staying in front, and pasting.

Build do commit 7b82bf2 no branch linux-beta, para teste no Omarchy (Hyprland). Não substitui o release 0.7.0 de Windows.

Added

  • Colar: copiar o prompt continua igual.

  • O atalho global no Wayland depende do portal do desktop.
