Infrastructure and Network Requirements

Complete this checklist before starting a migration.

Target Environment

• ONES is Self-Hosted.
• ONES 6.100.6 or later is available.
• A non-production environment is available for migration testing.

Migration Tool Host

• The host can communicate with both the source system and ONES.
• At least 20 GB of free space is available for the cache path.
• The selected HTTP port is reachable in both required directions.
• The /health endpoint returns a successful JSON response.

The default Jira tool port is 5001; Confluence connectivity checks use 5002.

Capacity During Migration

• At least 15–20% CPU headroom remains available.
• At least 15–20% memory headroom remains available.
• Stable intranet bandwidth of at least 1 Gbps is available.
• For terabyte-scale attachments, 10 Gbps bandwidth is available or the migration is divided into batches.

If CPU or memory headroom drops below 10%, reduce concurrency. If it drops below 5%, pause the migration and adjust capacity or the migration window.
