The Policy

If we get an unsolicited pull request from outside of the organisation it must not be merged. It should be raised to the Technical Lead or nominated Senior team member.

Implementation

  • Only really applies to public repositories or repositories with external collaborators.
  • Review the author of any Issues or Pull Requests.
  • Anyone not in the organisation should have more scrutiny.
  • Document process in CONTRIBUTING.md.
