Install on every node; postinst restarts PVE services and registers triggers so the UI panel and pool-scan endpoint survive pve-manager/pve-storage upgrades.

Highlights

  • Full VM disk lifecycle: create, snapshot, rollback, online resize, clone, template
  • iSCSI initiator lifecycle managed automatically (login/logout/rescan)
  • Web UI dialog: storage-ID auto-fill, pool scan dropdown, content type locked to Disk image
  • Credentials stored in pmxcfs (/etc/pve/priv/storage/<id>.pw), never in storage.cfg
  • Validated on PVE 9.1.x and 9.2.x, including two-node cluster live migration

Compatibility

Loads on PVE 9.1.x and 9.2.x (declares api=13). Not supported on 8.4.x.
