Changes

  • Meal analysis uses the same Pi Agent and tools as chat. It can find previous meals, read notes and clarification answers, and open saved photos.
  • Plain text sent in a meal chat answers any pending clarification and triggers recalculation. Once clarification is complete, messages return to normal chat.
  • Answer history is retained across clarification rounds and retries. Background recovery no longer restarts a meal while its answer is being processed.
  • When a food name is disputed, the assistant is instructed to inspect the photo again. Previous guesses and echoed question text are not treated as user confirmation.
  • Errors remain visible after reopening a chat. Failed answers can be retried without duplicating the message.
  • Debug recording controls were removed, and diagnostic export is now labelled as saving logs.

Installation

Download caldone-1.2.8-arm64.apk and install it over an existing 1.2.x version. The application ID and signing key are unchanged.

Validation

All 163 automated tests, TypeScript checks and Android bundle export passed. The release build verified the APK signature, application ID and ARM64 architecture. Live-model behavior and installation on a physical phone have not been separately verified.
