Learn about vigilant mode.

First installer preview. Boot it, run sudo fyxos-install, and pick a flavor:

  • Atrium: polished, mouse-first KDE Plasma 6.7
  • Autarchy (stable / latest): Omarchy on Hyprland, built from Omarchy's own source
  • Minimal: the FyxOS base alone

The ISO is nixpkgs' stock minimal installer plus fyxos-install. Everything else downloads from cache.nixos.org during the install, locked to the ISO's nixpkgs revision (nixos-unstable c59305b). Whole-disk installs only (ext4, btrfs or XFS, optional LUKS, UEFI or BIOS); dual-boot is planned for v2.

Tested in QEMU over UEFI with tests/install-qemu.py: unattended installs of Minimal on btrfs (boots to its login prompt) and Atrium on XFS (boots to the graphical greeter).

Preview quality: expect rough edges. Known gaps are in each repository's README and in FyxOS#1.
