Pearipherals is a free, open-source Windows tray app for Apple Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad 2.
Important Windows trust notice
The v1.1 Pearipherals.exe below is unsigned. Windows may show an unknown or untrusted publisher warning, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may warn about it, and Smart App Control may block it. Smart App Control has no per-app Run anyway exception. Do not disable a system-wide Windows security feature just to run this unsigned build.
This is a publisher-identity and software-reputation limitation, not by itself a malware verdict. The complete source is public for inspection and local builds.
Pearipherals applied for free open-source signing through SignPath Foundation. The application was not accepted because the project is still new and does not yet have enough established public usage. We plan to apply again as the user base grows.

What v1.1 provides
- "Tragic" Keyboard: Mac-style Apple Magic Keyboard function keys on Windows
- "Tragic" Trackpad: three-finger Magic Trackpad 2 gestures and natural-scrolling control
- "Moodio" Display: brightness keys for Apple Studio Display and other monitors
- One portable EXE with local configuration and no account or telemetry
Magic Trackpad pointer movement and two-finger scrolling require the free, signed mac-precision-touchpad driver. Keyboard features do not require that driver.
Newer source improvements are available on the main branch. This release asset remains the original unsigned v1.1 build and is labeled accordingly.
