OpenBlade 0.24.3
HyperBoost can start directly from more performance modes and restore the starting settings on the supported Blade 16 models. This release expands controls for the Blade 16 (2025) and fixes display color-profile selection, GPU activity display, firmware version checks, and shutdown handling.
Download OpenBlade-Setup.exe for Windows 11 24H2 or later (x64). Verify it with the accompanying SHA-256 file. The installer and OpenBlade's first-party binaries are unsigned.
Built from commit 4939661bd5c1dd6aae245b8c333b3ebd1bb0c6cd. The tested source tree matches this commit exactly: formatting, solution build, 7,404 solution tests, 137 installer UI tests, and all 28 build-contract scripts passed locally. The unchanged stable publisher passed on the release commit, including payload and upgrade validation. Hosted CI could not start because of GitHub's billing/spending-limit restriction.
See the 0.24.3 changelog for all changes.
OpenBlade 0.22.0
GPU tuning stays available while HyperBoost runs on the supported Razer Blade 16 RZ09-0581. Changing NVIDIA offsets leaves HyperBoost active, and confirmed offsets remain after HyperBoost exits or recovers.
Download OpenBlade-Setup.exe for Windows 11 24H2 or later (x64). Verify it with the accompanying SHA-256 file. The installer and OpenBlade's first-party binaries are unsigned.
This release was built from commit 536d81b6f91ebd8007721b882f1b2ef02d5da91d. The stable publish pipeline, 6,827 solution tests, 137 installer UI tests, 29 build contract scripts, and formatting check passed locally. The GPU change was checked on the laptop with a signed LocalDev build of PR #579, including a reversible offset change while HyperBoost remained active. The packaged stable installer was not installed on that machine. Hosted CI jobs could not start because of the repository's GitHub billing restriction; the maintainer authorized local validation and CI bypass.
See the 0.22.0 changelog for the full change.
OpenBlade 0.21.10
OpenBlade 0.21.10 fixes HyperBoost admission when Razer's gaming updater or verified lighting helper is running. A verified Synapse Blade Blocker patch also lets HyperBoost run with the known Synapse service aliases.
- Allow verified RGS, Chroma, and
razerwdlinstances to coexist with HyperBoost while retaining diagnostics for detected controllers. - Keep unverified identities, unpatched Synapse, and incomplete controller detection blocking HyperBoost.
- Clarify when a Synapse update requires the Blade Blocker patch to be applied again.
Download OpenBlade-Setup.exe for Windows 11 24H2 or later, x64. First-party binaries are unsigned. SHA-256 is supplied alongside the installer.
Built locally from 2f83c7e057a2edbdb164bb2efbc9cae4cb95ed62 with the stable publish pipeline. Full solution build and tests passed, as did installed RZ09-0581 HyperBoost entry, restoration, helper arrival, and attended sleep/resume validation on the product commit. This machine has no Synapse service aliases, and RGS remained running, so those arrival cases were covered by synthetic tests rather than live arrival tests; the requester accepted these limits. Hosted jobs could not start because of the account billing/spending block. Validation details are in PR #573, PR #576, and release preparation PR #577.
OpenBlade 0.21.9
OpenBlade 0.21.9 fixes firmware update checks and recognizes validated MCU 1.7 firmware on the Razer Blade 16 RZ09-0581.
- Fix firmware checks failing on the first attempt when Razer's support page starts a new session.
- Recognize validated MCU 1.7.0.0 on the Razer Blade 16 RZ09-0581, so the tested-firmware notice no longer appears for it.
- Developer tooling: keep apps started by the local-development deployment client running after the command runner exits.
Download OpenBlade-Setup.exe for Windows 11 24H2 or later, x64. First-party binaries are unsigned. SHA-256 is supplied alongside the installer.
Built locally from 2d449d8d5aef0df7680a721c74afcf4223801b1f with the unchanged stable publish pipeline. Hosted jobs could not start because of the account billing/spending block; local release validation is recorded in PR #571.
OpenBlade 0.21.6
OpenBlade 0.21.6 improves lighting editor reliability, status recovery, and service startup.
- Keep the selected lighting effect visible while its final service status arrives.
- Preserve intentional black colors and stored Tidal colors when switching effects or random-color modes.
- Refresh HyperBoost eligibility when cooling-pad detection changes.
- Preserve connection, control, and power observations when diagnostic messages change, and clear transient state after recovery.
- Try once to start a confirmed-stopped service when the tray launches, without repeated elevation prompts or racing shutdown.
Download OpenBlade-Setup.exe for Windows 11 24H2 or later, x64. First-party binaries are unsigned. SHA-256 is supplied alongside the installer.
Built locally from 7ed98d0c3ef14423db21eb4e78f3e623c7ed4f85 with the unchanged stable publish pipeline. Hosted jobs could not start because of the account billing/spending block; local release validation is recorded in PR #554.
OpenBlade 0.21.0
OpenBlade 0.21.0 adds optional coexistence with Synapse Blade Blocker, so Synapse can continue serving peripherals while OpenBlade controls the laptop.
- Verify the applied blocker and running Synapse processes before allowing coexistence, including a fresh Blade lighting-interface check for the Windows lighting helper. Updates, invalid evidence, independent controllers, and unknown helpers retain conflict protection.
- Reevaluate patch timestamps after clock corrections.
- Explain HyperBoost restrictions beside the controls and allow Chroma lighting services without weakening other controller checks.
Use Synapse Blade Blocker 0.1.0 for the optional patch. Its compatibility remains experimental.
Download OpenBlade-Setup.exe for Windows 11 24H2 or later, x64. First-party binaries are unsigned. SHA-256 is supplied alongside the installer.
Built locally from 7196f5420a2e8a5324af64ede451643ff0942712 using the unchanged stable publish pipeline. Hosted CI was bypassed with owner authorization because account billing prevented jobs from starting; local release validation is recorded in PR #506.
