The player's manual ships with the game. Releases now carry docs/Manual.html next to the executable — the loop, every key, all six
contests, and the tips worth knowing — so game managers that offer a
game's documentation, like AGNow, find something a player would actually
read.
Changed
The manual is the only document a release offers a player. A game
manager scanning the install folder used to list numpy's entry_points.txt, setuptools' vendored lorem ipsum and thirty-odd
dependency licenses buried in _internal alongside the manual. The
packaging bookkeeping is gone. The licenses still ship — they have to —
merged into a single extensionless Third-Party-Licenses file at the
bundle root, where the MIT license now also sits as LICENSE: present
for anyone who looks, never offered as something to read.
Design notes moved from docs/DESIGN.md to DESIGN.md at the
repository root, leaving docs/ player-facing by contract. The README's
How to play section now points at the manual instead of duplicating it.
