InRange 1.0.7
How to update
Open InRange and tap Update on the banner at the top of Overview. Android will ask you to allow installing from InRange the first time: say yes, then Install. Your data stays where it is.
No banner? Download the .apk below and open it.
New
- Home screen widget in three sizes: 2x1, 2x2 and 4x2. The bigger ones draw your day, with a dot for every meal, dose and walk, and a colour key. Hold the home screen, Widgets, InRange, and drag the size you want.
- Sensor correction: if your sensor reads high or low against your finger sticks, say by how much. It belongs to that sensor and goes away with it.
- Snooze on an alert: quiet for a while, without switching it off.
- Touch and hold a chart to read the value and the time at that point.
- Sensor picker: pick the brand, then the model. Dexcom G7 15 Day is in there.
- Big number: one tap from the day row, and the screen stays awake.
- Coach mode: where your glucose is heading over the next thirty minutes.
Not fully tested yet
These shipped without being seen working on a real phone, so treat them as new:
- Steps: your Health Connect steps under the chart, and the steps of that hour when you tap a point. Switch it on in Settings, Style.
- The thirty minute forecast. Never a reason to dose. If it disagrees with your sensor, your sensor is right.
- Steps. Nothing appears unless another app writes steps to Health Connect.
- The change to repeated low alerts.
If any of them behaves oddly, tell me from Settings, Privacy, Report a problem.
Fixed
- Turning on the ongoing notification could kill the app. Eight phones hit this.
- Signing in with a different account on this phone no longer sends the previous person's meals, doses and inventory to the new account.
- The bottom bar cut the words, and More could not be tapped on some phones.
- Low alerts no longer repeat when the sensor wobbles across your low line.
- On a pump, the insulin you log with a meal now appears in your report.
- Health Connect no longer asks you to connect it after you already allowed it.
- A threshold no meter could read is refused. It used to switch your high alert off.
- A restored backup with the range upside down is refused.
- A finger stick is no longer counted as a sensor reading, and GMI is not built from a handful of them.
- Time in a zone counted minutes the sensor never measured.
- The top of the chart cut readings off.
- The setup wizard can be finished on a new install, with or without a sensor.
- The report divides insulin by the days that insulin has been logged.
- A report of a year now shows the year on both dates.
- Time in range says how many readings it came from when there are only a few.
- One reading no longer colours a whole day of the calendar.
- Variability shows nothing instead of 0% when there is a single reading.
- A sensor saved as "Other" needs a name.
- Events stops saying "Today" after midnight.
- Tapping a dot in the meal window says what it was, and the window lists everything logged inside it.
- The Settings menu is no longer half English in Spanish and French.
- Update notices work whatever the release is tagged.
