Delirium Physics 0.1.0
Delirium Physics 0.1.0: a physics playground for an active ragdoll ("Homer") that balances, stumbles, braces, grabs and falls on its own.
New since RC1
- Smooth at any frame rate. Bodies and cars are drawn blended between physics steps. 120 Hz+ screens and slow motion look smooth, and the physics is unchanged.
- Cab door stage (Extras): Homer holds a cab's door as it pulls away. He's dragged with his legs kicking, then lets go and falls.
- Injuries. Shots and car hits hurt the limb they land on, and a hurt arm stops bracing.
- Dodging. Shoot near him twice in quick succession and he dives out of the way.
- Ledge hang. Going over the rooftop edge, he catches it, hangs, then drops.
- New weapons: grenades, molotovs, bat and knife.
- Homer fights back. Switch "passive" off and he walks up to the Hero and punches. Thrown objects and cars knock him out of it.
- More behaviours: soft limits, breathing, split body, shoot dodge, arm hang, crush reaction and more, on the Extras tab.
- Faster crowds. Ragdolls step in parallel: a crowd of 25 runs about twice as fast. Every crowd ped has a full body.
How to run (Windows)
- Download Source code (zip) below and unzip it.
- Drag your own game disc image (.iso) onto
delirium-room.bat, or double-click it and pick your game folder. - The first run installs Rust and the C++ build tools if you don't have them (it asks first) and builds the room. That takes a few minutes; later runs start straight away.
No game files are included. The room reads them from your own copy.
