OpenSocrates 1.1.4
OpenSocrates 1.1.4
OpenSocrates 1.1.4 makes the native Claude package small enough for Cowork's
local plugin upload while preserving the established Claude and Codex host
boundaries.
Highlights
- Claude and Codex now build from separate native runtime profiles. The Claude
package contains no Codex SDK or CLI entries; the Codex package keeps its
existing runtime surface. - The Claude runtime uses PyInstaller's no-archive mode. Release checks reject
nested ZIP entries and enforce Cowork's 50 MB compressed and 200 MB
uncompressed limits using conservative decimal-byte thresholds. - A sanitized live receipt records Cowork accepting the 13.8 MB compressed,
34.1 MB uncompressed candidate and delivering UserPromptSubmit,
PostToolUse(Read), Stop, SessionStart, and SessionEnd hooks. - Claude selector outcomes are persisted only as bounded, content-free counts.
diagnosedistinguishes an unreadable aggregate from zero attempts;
malformed current-schema data self-heals on the next valid outcome while an
unknown future schema is preserved. - Runtime output paths follow the detected native target, and default plugin
generation reads onlydist/runtime/<host>, preventing mixed or mislabeled
runtime trees from entering a package.
Upgrade notes
Update both managed hosts together with:
npx --yes opensocrates@1.1.4 update --host allThe released native package remains limited to Apple-silicon macOS
(darwin-arm64). Cowork can use the Claude package through its local plugin
upload path. Repository sync is not claimed because OpenSocrates still does not
ship a Cowork marketplace manifest. Claude web and Desktop Chat remain
skills-only surfaces without plugin hooks.
No committed receipt contains prompts, transcripts, credentials, local paths,
raw hook payloads, tool output, selector reasoning, or user identity.
