Passkeys
Sign in with your fingerprint, face, screen lock or a security key instead of a password.
- Adding one: Settings → My Account → Passkeys, after confirming your password (and your two-factor code if 2FA is on). Parley emails you whenever a passkey is added.
- Signing in: the login page has a Sign in with a passkey button, and supporting browsers suggest your passkey right in the username field. A passkey covers both the password and the second factor, and your password keeps working.
- Security keys: type your username first and keys that don't store a passkey still work.
- Where they work: passkeys are tied to the address in
APP_URL, so that must be a domain name. They work in browsers and the Windows app. The macOS, Linux and Android apps keep using passwords.
Mail in the Admin Console
A new Mail page lists the last 200 emails the server tried to send and what happened to each: sent, failed (with the error), logged or switched off. You can filter by recipient and open any email to read it. Pair it with your mail provider's activity log to follow delivery.

Upgrading
Pull parleydev/parley:v0.4.0 and parleydev/frontend:v0.4.0 (or set PARLEY_IMAGE_TAG=v0.4.0) and restart. One new database migration (passkeys) runs automatically on start. For passkeys, make sure APP_URL is the public HTTPS address people use.
