Crafting Recipes

A unique feature of Alcatraz is the ability for players to deconstruct and craft custom prison items in game. These prison items have special properties within Alcatraz.

The following recipes will show the slot number in which an item must be placed in order to craft the item. You can visualize the slots in the crafting GUI (via crafting bench) as follows:

Prison Shank

A prison shank is the only item that can be used to damage other players. When wielded in hand, a player can strike another player to inflict damage

Slot 2: Stick
Slot 5: Stick
Slot 8: Stick

Lock Pick

A lock pick can be used on iron doors in order to attempt to pick the lock. There is a random chance of the lock pick working or not. Regardless of the outcome of the lock pick attempt, one lock pick will be removed from the players inventory

Slot 2: Iron Ingot
Slot 5: String
Slot 8: Stick

Iron Ingot (Deconstruct)

Players can deconstruct a fishing pole in order to receive an iron ingot.
