@willsheldon willsheldon released this 09 Sep 18:53

What's changed

Added

  • Show pending routing updates in the menu bar and above Broker settings, with
a review dialog that explains changed recommendations before applying them.
  • Save the previous routing rules when applying an update. Undo Update restores
those rules and remains available after restarting Pinemeter.

Fixed

  • Require confirmation before an update or undo replaces local routing edits.

Universal (Apple Silicon & Intel), Developer ID signed and notarized. Download Pinemeter.dmg below, open it, and drag Pinemeter into Applications.

What's changed

Changed

  • Match the large reset countdown to the selected quota color palette, with
distinct colors for days, hours, and minutes across all six schemes.

What's changed

Changed

  • Restore vertical quota columns in the same order as the menu bar. Reset labels
use compact days, hours, and minutes beneath each bar, with the leading unit
emphasized and the local reset time on a separate line.
  • Refresh About with the app identity, updates, documentation, GitHub Issues,
privacy details, and expandable credits. Copy only version, build, and macOS
    version for support.

@willsheldon willsheldon released this 07 Sep 22:03

What's changed

Changed

  • Choose usage monitoring or broker setup on first launch. Manage provider accounts
in dedicated Accounts settings and follow the broker setup checklist.
  • Review detected browser sessions before connecting selected accounts. Keep
existing account labels and show partial failures with recovery actions.
  • Improve dashboard layout, keyboard access, and broker safety confirmations.

Fixed

  • Prevent automatic session recovery from replacing a saved account with a
    different identity.
  • Distinguish missing usage data from stale data and avoid an instructions-changed
notice before the first broker connection.

Universal (Apple Silicon & Intel), Developer ID signed and notarized. Download Pinemeter.dmg below, open it, and drag Pinemeter into Applications.

@willsheldon willsheldon released this 05 Sep 23:03

What's changed

Added

  • Allow preset manifests to define a model's quota source and supported effort
values. New models can route without an app update while local account
    bindings remain local.

Fixed

  • Route Terra through its ChatGPT quota source when an older saved policy has
no Terra usage-lane mapping, avoiding a degraded unbound T3 route.

@willsheldon willsheldon released this 05 Sep 14:49

What's changed

Fixed

  • Restore Claude quotas when the API returns valid usage windows alongside
member_dashboard_available: false. Beta 29 incorrectly treated that flag
    as an unconditional unavailable response.

What's changed

Added

  • Refresh quota and T3 health, then retry a retryable degraded broker pick once
before showing an alert. Remaining alerts include a Fix Routes action that
clears cooldowns and refreshes broker health.

Fixed

  • Keep connected Claude accounts visible by label when Claude reports their
    usage dashboards as unavailable.

What's changed

Fixed

  • Treat Claude accounts with an unavailable usage dashboard as unavailable
instead of reporting "Server returned invalid response".

What's changed

Changed

  • Re-tune the bundled broker routing from the 2026-09-03 evidence review
(docs/2026-09-03-routing-manifest-review/). Opus 5 now leads planning in
Balanced with Fable 5.1 second; Fable keeps the lead on
research and design. Review stays on Opus 5 but runs at high instead of
xhigh. Heavy chains run Sonnet 5 and GPT-5.6 Sol at xhigh. Conserve
Quota puts Opus 5 at medium ahead of Haiku on judgment roles. The Fable
weekly ceiling drops from 90 to 80 in Balanced and Offload Execution.

Added

  • gpt-5.6-terra and gpt-5.6-luna as Codex-lane candidates, with usage
lanes, instance mapping, and effort labels. Terra leads the standard role
in Codex-heavy presets; Luna is a short-context worker in Conserve Quota.
  • Two manifest-only presets for other subscription mixes: "Claude Only" (no
Codex lanes) and "Balanced (No Fable)" (Opus leads judgment, Codex
    executes).
  • Two broker roles: explore for read-only codebase scanning (Haiku, then
Terra, then Sonnet at low effort) and verification for test running and
plan checking (Sonnet high, then Terra high). Saved settings and pinned
profiles gain both chains through a one-shot migration.
  • Routing-update notifications. When a manifest refresh delivers updated
rules for the active preset or new presets, Pinemeter posts a macOS
notification with Apply and Review actions. Apply adopts the active
preset's new rules; Review opens Settings > Broker. The usage popover's
broker card shows the same "Routing update available" row. A refresh still
never changes live routing by itself. Toggle: "Notify me when routing
updates arrive" in the Preset Manifest card.
  • Agent-setup revisions delivered through the manifest. The manifest carries
an agent_setup block (revision, date, summary). The audit tool stamps
the revision it graded against; when a newer revision arrives, the
instruction re-check reminder fires with the summary, and the Instructions
pane shows it beside the copy-setup-prompt button. The setup prompt now
tells agents to choose role from the broker's status tool and names the
explore and verification roles; the audit checks for that line.

Deprecated

  • The architecture role. It is no longer a shipped chain; a pick for it
resolves to the planning chain unless the saved policy still carries an
explicit architecture entry, which keeps winning.
