Release v6.0.1
Update paths so including pds in sass becomes prettier. With the right load paths to sass, it's now just
@use "pds/settings" with (
$assets-path: "../path-to/pds-assets"
);
@use "pds/reset"; // optional
@use "pds/main";and later
@use "pds/pds";Release v6.0.0
Update to Sass 1.80+
Changes
Replace @import with @use and @forward
see https://sass-lang.com/documentation/breaking-changes/import/
Setting assets path
Sass does not use globals anymore, so you have to 'configure' sass with your settings:
old:
$pds-assets-path="../foobar"new:
@use "...path-to-pds/settings" with (
$assets-path: "../foobar"
);Using prepend
prepend.sccs is gone; it is replaced by settings.scss.
old:
import "@pds/sass/prepend.scss";new: nothing
Import pds namespace and replace pds- prefix with pds. namespace
Sass does not use globals anymore, so you have to use the pds namespace in every file if you need any of those:
old:
h1 { font-size: pds-fontsize(huge); }new:
@use "...path-to-pds/pds"
h1 { font-size: pds.fontsize(huge); }If you've been using $pds-assets-path in your own code, it is now available at pds.$assets-path. The same is true for other variables that use to be 'global' - they are now 'inside pds'.
v5.0.2 - update sass
- Update sass to 1.77.8
- Fix some deprecation warnings
v5.0.1
minor fix
Same as v5.0.0, but now hopefully with the tar.gz attachments
v5.0.0
Before upgrading to v5, upgrade to previous versions first, and check your app
BREAKING CHANGES:
- scoping (
.pds-s-*) has been removed - css variables are used instead of sass functions, so
- you cant use sass method on pds colors anymore, because they are now css vars
- you should not use
pds-color(), but if you do, you must quote color names - you can search&replace pds-color() using regex:
- search
pds-color\((.*)\) - replace
var(--pds-color-$1) - watch out for scss functions like
rgba(var(--pds
- search
- you should not use
pds-theme-color(), but if you do, you must quote color names - assuming the definitions are in the 'current' theme, you can search & replace pds-theme-color by:
- search
pds-theme-color\((.*),\s*(.*)\s*\) - replace
var(--pds-color-$2) - watch out for scss functions like
rgba(var(--pds
- search
- secondary colors have changed
- theme property names have changed:
fill-coloris now calledfill-fill-accentis now calledaccfillstroke-coloris now calledstrokestroke-accentis now calledaccstroke
- sizings are handled more consistently, so
- breakpoints sm,md and lg are renamed to s,m and l
- breakpoint s is now 576 instead of 550 and l is 992 instead of 990
- nth($pds-spacings) has changed to pds-spacing(xxx)
- where xxx is one of
none, tiny, xxs, xs, s, default, m, l, xl, xxl, huge; - the indexes are the same, but 'huge' was added at the end
- the list for pds-lineheight(), which already existed, has been extended to match the same elements (with different values)
- the list of breakpoints for pds-media(), now uses the same elements (with different values, see above)
- where xxx is one of
- themes have been renamed
- theme
corporateis nowblue01 - theme
publicis noworange01
- theme
