CODBOZ v0.0.2 - Rendering and device compatibility update
Second PortMaster test release for Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies.
This update focuses on wider device compatibility, first-launch setup/patching process and a lot of minor fixes for various devices.
Yes, this includes the R36S.
Changes since v0.0.1:
- Added an SDL-backed EGL fallback for firmware where the native EGL path is unavailable.
- Fixed incorrect OpenGL floating-point argument forwarding.
- Removed obsolete runtime, input, threading, and rendering compatibility code.
- Hidden the two virtual touchscreen sticks when using physical controls.
- Added APK and resource archive checksum verification.
- Added network checks, download progress, and one automatic retry for failed or corrupted downloads.
- Simplified the launch and setup scripts to use PortMaster helpers.
- Switched to the firmware-provided SDL2 library instead of bundling a private copy.
- Added deployment support for dArkOS and ArkOS.
- Cleaned up the Docker and ARMHF cross-build configuration.
- Corrected the PortMaster metadata, defaults, and minimum glibc requirement.
Provide your own previously purchased Android 1.0.11 APK by placing it at:
ports/codboz/apk/game.apk
On first launch, the setup process extracts the required game data, downloads the resource archives from the game's CDN, and verifies their checksums. This can take roughly 15-20 minutes.
If you have the wrong version of the game you will see an error during the first-launch setup.
Any other version than 1.0.11 does not work, modded apks don't work, older versions do not work.
Tested on:
- Anbernic RG35XX H running muOS - 640x480 (4:3)
- Anbernic RG40XX H running KNULLI - 640x480 (4:3)
- R36S running dArkOS - 640x480 (4:3) (WITH A WIFI DONGLE)

Controls
The game menu was originally only intended to be navigated via a touch screen. Instead, I've implemented a cursor mode. Move the cursor with the left analog stick, select/press with A.
Press Select to toggle between Cursor and Game mode.
Known issues
- Audio is kinda fcked up. A contribution is welcome if you are able to fix it.
- Going back to the menu by clicking on "Return" or "Save and quit" crashes the game. (game is still saved)
