To start using QuickChat, follow these simple steps. You do not need any technical background.
- Visit this page to download QuickChat.
- On the releases page, you will see a list of available versions. Select the latest version.
- Click on the corresponding download file to begin the download.
- Operating System: Windows 10 or higher, macOS, or a recent Linux distribution.
- Internet Connection: Required for real-time chat functionality.
- Memory: At least 4 GB of RAM for smooth performance.
- Storage: 100 MB of free disk space for installation and data storage.
- Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded file in your default download folder.
- Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation process.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
- After installation, locate the QuickChat icon on your desktop or in your applications folder.
- Double-click the icon to launch QuickChat.
- On the welcome screen, click on "Sign Up".
- Fill in your details, including your name and email address.
- Choose a strong password and click "Submit".
- You will receive a confirmation email. Click on the link in the email to activate your account.
- After logging in, navigate to the "Profile" section.
- Here, you can upload a profile picture by clicking on the βUpload Pictureβ button.
- Add any additional information in the provided fields and click "Save".
- To see who is online, check the list on the left side of the screen.
- Click on a userβs name to open a chat window.
- Type your message in the input box at the bottom and hit "Enter" to send.
