Mognitio v0.14.0
Mognitio v0.14.0 adds Unicode scalar decomposition, linear text assembly and explicit I/O failure phases.
String->scalars()returns aList<String>in Unicode scalar order, preserving NUL, BOM, combining marks and line endings.List<String>->join(separator: String)joins fragments with separators only between elements. Both operations perform linear structural work; allocator and collector costs are separate.Std\Io\IoErrorPhasehasInput,Target,BodyandCleanup. EveryIoErrorconstructor now requires aphasefield. Standard stream failures useBody.- A missing directory is a creation candidate only for
ReadDirectorywithTarget,NotFoundand the requested subject. Later failures must not be treated as an absent or empty directory. - Includes first-file-close internal-error preservation and native verification of scalar root lifetime and primary error/phase preservation.
This is a source release for Linux amd64, with no prebuilt compiler. The compiler host requires glibc 2.34+, SBCL, ASDF, UIOP and SB-POSIX. Add the source checkout's real bin directory to PATH and use mgn. Ordinary generated ELF executables need neither SBCL nor libc.
Validation: 178 Lisp test groups, 8,117 assertions, 1,089 general-harness processes, and 783 additional Python checks, all passing. Both the candidate archive and GitHub tag archive passed all 17 example projects and the v0.14 integration suite. All 310 checksums matched before and after execution. See release validation for commands and limits.
Release main merge: 31eae7795d0152491d80fa57fd017f084e6bf934 (PR #66). The immutable annotated tag targets this merge commit. Its tree 917ca44980771f1f4f9135920ba93116c293e8b1 matches tested preparation HEAD 58d9049d3ebca554f60a7281ff1d184304fa8801 and version candidate 48ec758e7173a5a88953a70ae9f07957a5140518 (PR #65).
Backwards compatibility is not guaranteed before v1.0.0. Existing IoError construction must migrate to the required phase field. External consumer adoption, whole-application performance, other hosts/targets, physical exhaustion recovery, arbitrary corruption, concurrent filesystem replacement and power-loss durability remain unverified. Binary I/O, public File/Path handles, recursive filesystem mutation, defer, atomic writes, general iterators and mutable builders remain outside this release.
