OpenLoop is a community initiative that aims to build a repeatable workflow for bringing Pseudo Lab projects to global audiences β€” connecting content discovery with opportunities to participate and contribute.

πŸ”„ OpenLoop

Why this project?

Why OpenLoop?

Based in South Korea, Pseudo Lab is home to a growing community of builders, researchers, and open-source contributors exploring AI and emerging technologies. Across the community, projects continuously generate research, technical insights, experiments, and stories worth sharing.

OpenLoop aims to bring these projects and stories to wider audiences by building a repeatable global communication loop. By identifying active projects, adapting their stories for global audiences, and sharing them across global platforms, we aim to create new entry points into the Pseudo Lab community and connect project discovery with opportunities to participate.

Problem Statement

OpenLoop explores how existing project activities can be transformed into accessible global content and, ultimately, create pathways from project discovery to open-source contribution.

Key Milestones

Our Season 13 journey moves through five stages: BUILD β†’ CURATE β†’ LAUNCH β†’ AMPLIFY β†’ SCALE

BUILD THE LOOP

  • Define criteria for identifying projects and activities to highlight
  • Establish a content calendar and publishing frequency
  • Develop standardized content structures and visual formats for LinkedIn

CURATE THE LOOP

  • Select active projects to highlight each month
  • Identify relevant project stories, blog content, and contribution opportunities
  • Translate and adapt selected content for global audiences

LAUNCH THE LOOP

  • Publish curated English content through LinkedIn
  • Connect each post to relevant blog content and GitHub repositories
  • Establish clear pathways from project discovery to participation

AMPLIFY THE LOOP

  • Track engagement and audience response
  • Experiment with different content and visual formats
  • Highlight contribution stories and project progress through follow-up content

SCALE THE LOOP

  • Refine the workflow based on content performance and contribution data
  • Automate repetitive curation, localization, and distribution tasks with AI
  • Explore additional platforms such as X and Reddit to build a one-source, multi-platform content workflow

Expected Outcomes

By the end of the season, OpenLoop aims to establish:

  • Repeatable global content workflow connecting LinkedIn β†’ Blog β†’ GitHub
  • Standardized English content and visual templates
  • An AI-assisted workflow for repetitive curation, localization, and distribution tasks

Our goal is to build a sustainable loop that helps global audiences discover, understand, and contribute to Pseudo Lab projects.

πŸ”„ The OpenLoop Workflow

OpenLoop follows a simple principle: content should lead to discovery, and discovery should create opportunities for participation.

Pseudo Lab Projects
        ↓
Discover Active Projects
        ↓
Curate Stories & Activities
        ↓
Translate & Adapt
        ↓
Share with Global Audiences
        ↓
LinkedIn β†’ Blog β†’ X / Reddit
        ↓
Project Discovery
        ↓
GitHub Contribution
        ↻

The goal is to keep the loop open: global audiences can discover a project through content, learn more about its work, and find a clear path toward participation and contribution.

Each cycle also generates new insights, stories, and contributions that can feed into the next round of content.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ€β€πŸ§‘ How We Work

Our team works through the following cycle:

BUILD β†’ CURATE β†’ LAUNCH β†’ AMPLIFY β†’ SCALE ↻

Our Principles

  • 🌍 Think Global β€” Approach every project from the perspective of the global audience.

  • 🀝 Create Together β€” Share ownership across research, writing, translation, design, and publishing rather than working in silos.

  • πŸ”„ Build for Repeatability β€” Turn successful experiments into simple, reusable workflows that can continue beyond a single season.
